Life coach partners Amy Ahlers, CPCC, and Melissa McFarlane, CPCC, recognized a need to take the transformational power of life coaching beyond the reach of the privileged and well-educated and make it accessible to everyone.  Ahlers and McFarlane also acknowledged the need for organizations to commit to the growth and development of their employees in efficient and inventive ways.  Formed in 2002 and based in Los Angeles, Electric Kites life coaching realizes their joint vision and dedication to help create a better world through life coaching one person at a time.

In addition to facilitating web-based life coaching through GetCoachedNow.com, private and group life coaching, Ahlers and McFarlane also host their annual ReCHARGE Workshops in Los Angeles and San Francisco in January and in Zurich and London in the spring, helping hundreds of people transform their lives each year.  The ReCHARGE Workshop, which helps participants better differentiate New Year’s resolutions from stamina and resolve, is a  one-day seminar that first examines the successes and failures of the previous year, and then puts a new perspective into action for the year ahead.
