About the Artist

Alyse Livingston is most recently a resident artist at the jFERRARI GALLERY in Atwater Village, CA. Previously, she was a resident artist at the Hive Gallery & Studios in Los Angeles. Having studied French in college and having worked in the bleak world of New York City advertising, she has a background in escapism and fantasy. Painting has been a solace, a meditation and a rebellion.

From evocative landscapes to intimate portraits, Alyse brings a singular sensibility to her work. Using color, movement, politics, idealism, rejection and space, she ensures that you are held momentarily in her realm. Alyse works in media ranging from watercolor and oils to mixed media and collage.

Her work can be seen in Los Angeles and New York.
